Join us for our next LifeGroup series on the book of Daniel. When we think of the book of Daniel, we might think of the old familiar Sunday School stories and their classic Veggie Tale adaptations, or maybe even about some of the bewildering prophecies in the latter half of the book. Familiar as they may be, Daniel holds deep power and relevance to us today as the wrestling of God's people with what it means to live faithfully in the service of broken leaders and broken systems, in the wake of the trauma of exile, and in the weight of hanging on to hope in God's promises. In our turbulent times today, may our study through the book of Daniel reveal how relevant these questions still are today!
This will be an eight-week series, starting the week of April 28th and ending June 19th.

Youth Sunday School
On Sunday, February 1, we launched a new youth Sunday School for our students in grades 6-9 during the main service time. We hope that it will provide intentional time for the spiritual formation of our middle schoolers and equip them to digest the preaching of the main worship service, so that they don't have to make the sudden quantum leap of going from children's Sunday School to full-blown preaching.
When and where will Youth Sunday School meet?
Unless otherwise noted, Youth Sunday School will meet on the first three weeks of the month in the upstairs youth room, after the first worship set. On the fourth and fifth weeks, they will join the adults in the main worship service.
Who will be teaching Youth Sunday School?
Currently, we have Dave, Yoh, Brian, and Sachiko rotating to instruct the youth, but we welcome anyone interested in teaching or assisting the teachers to contact David Lee. We are eager for more volunteers for this vital ministry!
What kinds of content will Youth Sunday School go over?
We plan for Youth Sunday School to follow the same content that is being preached that Sunday/gone over for LifeGroup that particular week. This will allow the students to follow along with what is preached when they do sit in main service, help them digest the information at a pace and format that suits them, and give parents the opportunity to be on the same page as their kids in terms of what they might be learning in church.
Who is eligible to join Youth Sunday School?
Youth Sunday School is for middle schoolers/junior highers from grades 6-9. Sixth through eighth graders are highly encouraged to join the Sunday school, while ninth graders can decide whether they would like to join Youth Sunday School or the main service.
